Leo's Documentation (PDF)

Leo is a show dog. He has an attitude and he’s got a beautiful head and body. He likes to show off not only in the ring but outside of the ring too. Leo’s enjoyment in life now is a ride in the back of a pick up truck. He takes up the whole back end of the truck and he will bark out that he is special. Now his passion for attention is other dogs and bicycle riders. For some dog reason he loves to get in the face of bicycle riders in town. Those riders notice him too.

Leo finished his show career fairly quickly. He was a champion after only 6 months on the road and he was just over a year old at the time. At his second dog show, he won best of winners and best of breed. He is a large dog, weighing in at 240 pounds and that isn’t fat either. His show career is really limited now because of his size and his attitude. We are going to use him mainly for his stud ability. We are looking forward to the puppies he will sire. Rose and Leo will be bred in the spring of 2009.

A Faithful Friend

A faithful dog will play with you

and laugh with you...or...cry

He'll gladly serve to stay with you

nor ever reason why

And when your feeling out of sorts

somehow he'll understand

He'll watch you with his shining eyes

and try to lick your hand

His blind, implicit faith in you

is matched by his great love...

The kind that all of us should have

in the Master up above

When everything is said and done

I guess this isn't odd

For when you spell "Dog" backwards

you will get the Name of God.
